SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

Most social media services require users to be at least 13 years of age to use their service.  Therefore, no child of primary school age should really be using them:

Instagram - an online photo and video sharing app which enables its users to take pictures and videos and share them.  It also enables users to send messages to each other online and comment on the content of others.

TikTok - a video and messaging app which allows users to create and share 60 seconds short videos.  It allows users to comment on the content of others.

WhatsApp - an instant messaging app for smartphones that allows users to send photos, videos and messages.

Snapchat - a messaging app used to share videos, pictures and messages.  These are automatically deleted, so they cannot be retrieved or checked at a later date. (However, there can be ways around this.)

Discord - An instant messaging platform that allows users to make voice calls, send text messages, media and files in private chats or part of a community.
